Welcome to Artful Mountain Retreats in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. We have two locations in the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area called the J Creek Community which are just minutes to downtown Waynesville or Downtown Maggie Valley. We are near many places to shop, hike, visit many waterfalls, streams, rivers as well as the Smoky Mountain National Park. We are also close to the Cataloochee ski resort. You can travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway for incredible scenic views. We are located just off Interstate 1-40 at Exit 20, between Knoxville, Tennessee (90 minutes) and Asheville, North Carolina (35 minutes). Whether you are looking for an experiential space like the Artful Dome focused on relaxation and healing the mind, body and spirit or an extended stay of 30 days or more for a home away from home at the COTTAGE (if you are 55 and over), we have two beautiful locations with many amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient.
